Safe Not Opening

If your safe is not opening, it may be caused by:

  1. Low battery

  2. Incorrect combination entry

πŸ”‹ Step 1 – Check Battery and Code

  • Make sure you are entering the correct combination.

    • βœ… Two beeps or a green light = correct code.

    • ❌ Single beep or three beeps = incorrect code.

  • Check the expiration date on the battery.

    • Use Duracell or Energizer 9V alkaline batteries with at least 5 years before expiration.

    • Do not use rechargeable, lithium, or off-brand batteries.

πŸ”§ Step 2 – If the Safe Still Won’t Open

Try this physical reset technique:

  1. Using a rubber mallet, gently tap around the keypad area (between the handle and keypad).

  2. Turn the handle clockwise (to the right) and hold it down.

  3. Lean your weight against the left side of the door.

  4. Enter your combination.

  5. As soon as you hear the double beep, turn the handle counterclockwise (to the left) to open the safe.
